Fall is in the air finally, here in Arizona. Cammie and Noah have moved in for a couple of months until they can find a suitable home in the east bay area of Northern California. Ben has already moved there and is working at a prestigious trauma hospital. Cammie and I had fun yesterday at a crafting day at her church. We had a nice lunch and made some cute items. Carl has moved out with some friends but drops by to watch a few football games with Scott now and then. I made it through the first quarter parent-teacher conferences for my fourth graders. Needless to say I am paddling as fast as I can to keep my head above water! Thank goodness for technology that allows us to see and talk with Rebecca, Joshua, Stefani, and Logan.

It really has been long since I wrote this time. I am now teaching fourth grade at a brand new school, Adams Traditional Academy. I love it. I have 16 wonderful kids, and only drive a few blocks to the school. I'd walk if it ever cooled off to less than 75 degrees. Right now we are still having 100+ every stinking day!!!
I now have three beautiful grandsons. Stefani had little Logan on August 4th. We drove the 13 hours to see them over Labor Day. It was so neat to be with all three girls and their little ones.
All is well, I have no complaints.

It has been forever since I last wrote. I have now taught first grade for half a year, graduated from ASU in December, and made a trip to Colorado and Wyoming. All is well with us here. Looks like our "winter" is over. It was 83 degrees today. Time to pack away the sweatshirts and jackets. I wore my flip flops for the first time today so my toes hurt tonight.
Cammie, Noah, and I hiked on Thunderbird Mtn. this morning and had a picnic before it got to hot!! Time to get in better shape.
If you are looking for something good to bake, check out Cammie's awesome site:

Looking forward to a great week. We have half days on Wed. and Thurs. I'll be holding 26 parent teacher conferences!!!!!!
