Rebecca and Eric come home for a short visit

Rebecca and Eric flew home for a short visit last weekend. What an eventful trip. Weather was so bad in Jackson Hole that on the way to the airport on Friday they received a call saying their flight was cancelled and they were on stand-by for a 7am flight on Sat. morning. We were so disappointed. They did get on the plane the next morning and finally arrived at 10:30am on Sat. They then were informed that their suitcase would be on the next plane. Well, it took until Monday afternoon for their luggage to catch up with them at our home, just in time for them to repack and leave early on Wed. morning. We had a great time though while they were here. We took in the Chinese New Year celebration at the Chinese Cultural Center in downtown Phoenix, watched Carl's football team play a game, watch Duncan's football team in a scrimmage, did a lot of shopping, Rebecca helped me with my drawing class, ate tons of delicous food both homecooked and at the restraunts, the boys went target shooting (Eric now yearns for an over/under shotgun like Scott's), had home pedicures, watched movies, and played many card and board games. What a fun whirlwind weekend!!!

Hey guys, great blog. It was fun to see the pictures, and catch up on the Arizona crew. We need to plan a family reunion in Arizona, maybe on spring break one year. It sounds like there are a lot of great activities, and it is warm. An essential ingredient this time of year.

We are all well. Here is a quick update if you are interested. Brittany is at school in Southern Utah Univ. and having fun at school, working 30+ hours a week, and taking 18 credits, but she likes to be busy. She is settling in to a major, she really is excited about; media production, radio mostly it seems, but she is still getting her feet on the ground with it.

Jenna is loving school and life. She has a great group of friends that keep her busy with great creative activities, she is having a post valentines girls only party. They dress up and have a nice dinner, I think just to make the boys jealous. She is an excellent student, and we are starting college visits. So far Indiana and Oklahoma are interesting to her. She is hoping to score well enough on the ACT's that she gets a full-ride scholarship. We shall see. Lacrosse is starting soon, so she is getting her physical exercise in again. Now we are all creaking and groaning as we get up and walk around the house.
Laura is working two part time jobs, one in a wig shop that she is having fun with, the second is in a massage place doing esthetics and spoiling women with great skin treatments. She has an inside track on a job she is really looking forward to. We will see what happens in the next couple of months.

I just plod along. Practice is great, it is so rewarding to do what I get to do: help people heal at every level. I teach acupuncture classes to other doctors, as well as classes for the lay public on health. Another book is in the near future, I just don't know what it will be on yet.

Life is exciting and God is good.
